Finally got me a set of the divco wheels. Repops awesome looking wheel had an idea for a long time now and we'll here it is. I know some may copy them but that's OK. still need to powdercoat the adapters but still u get the idea . Also tried out some I believe 33 caps.
http://www.allamericanwheel.com/milk.html Aluminum 10 pounds lighter than OE................are these the ones you have?
I bought a set for my model A pickup from All American Wheel, they are nice. Still trying to figure out the center cap. Those adapters look really good.
From talking to them On the phone they only have less than 1000 rims left. And yes they usually go for 300 each so now is the time to buy at 250 per pair. I was less than 600 shipped to the door but lug nuts are on back order .and they may not make another run of them.
if i was out to build a dry lakes coupe, i'd order up a set. nice touch with the veda caps. i have a set of those for my kelsey 40 spoke wheels.
Looks like they're blowing out the rest of their stock, and at that price I doubt they'll make more. Very much a specialty wheel, I remember not long ago originals bringing like $1200 each for the Ford pattern ones. I had some 6 lug Chevy ones that went to another HAMB member years ago. I wouldn't doubt that this would be one of those things where 5 or 10 years down the road after the stock runs out, these would gain some value. $250/pair is really cheap, very good deal if you want to run this style of wheel. Those originals are incredibly HEAVY!
There machined down. To there specs. From what Iam told. They look like shank lug nuts I hope Iam saying that right.
I'm seriously considering these for my panel, but 2 issues my stop me. If anyone has suggestions I'd love input. 1. Hard to find traditional looking tires in 18" for front 2. I need wider than 5.5" for the rear I'm putting a blown hemi In this thing I'm figuring 8-10" rear wheels might be necessary for traction. I'm really thinking of pie crust rears but no 18" available so 18's on front and 15 on rear would look crazy even with a bigger sidewall on rear. Again I'd love someone to school me, so I can order these
Run a cycle tire (Firestone) on the front and Coker every now and then dose a run of the 7.00-18 Deluxe Champions for the rear.
Anyone who is buying these wheels would be smart to order 2 sets. Simply because they are getting rid of what they have and will not make anymore. If you have a mishap in the future and need a replacement wheel you will be screwed unless you have an extra set. Then if you don't use them you will have a spare set for another project or to sell for a profit once rarity sets in.
500 x 18 Firestone dirt track tires front on 4.5 and Firestone dirt track rear are going to be the 820 x 18 on 5.5 is what I have been looking at haven't seen much options .and I like the rear is going to be a 33 over all and the front is I believe 29 over all so it should have a great big lil combo
These are stock Dodge/Plymouth high clearance wheels. They're only like 3.75" wide or so. Vary narrow. To narrow.
I didn't see the $250 per pair on their website... were they just running a sale temporarily or where did you see that price? 3blap.
