dizzy id please!!

    sorry for the crap pic, but am hoping someone can tell me what this dizzy is??
    from what i can tell all model a's had the same which is very similar but a bigger body. this has a mechanical advance too.im thinking its an after market or maybe a 32 onwards banger dizzy??have tried looking for one at the suppliers but cant find a pic of a b one to compare.

    thanks bruce, been looking at condenser and points and there much dearer for this than the a ones.i dont understand leccy stuff, but is there any reason i cant fit a diffrent condenser? other then the mounting?

    No reason--I have found an A distrib form NAPA is fine--just rebend the strap and you can stuff it together.
    I plan to make a simple 90 degree bracket in original screw hole to take the clamp from more common late condensers.
    You could easily convert to late points, I'd say 60's Mopar or 25o chevy 6 due to size--I'd mount them 180 degrees from original so either type could be used, set them up so they open at same point of rotation as stock so rotor phasing remains right.

    We had a discussion of B distribs going a day or two ago...where'd it go?
