If you hate working on old cars, let it go until it tears up the tranny.
If you like working on old cars, pull the tranny and replace all the stuff mentioned and enjoy a fine running driveline that will last and not make noises. Every thing mentioned in this thread is quite reasonable and an easy fix once you pull the tranny.
