Do I have the steering mounted correctly.?

    Ok..so I spent the better part of the day cutting a mounting flange for my Saginaw 525 box.I borrowed a flange kit from a local guy and just copied the payout and cut it the same way.Now I read through all of the post about mounting and looked at some pics of breakage and hope it wont happen to me.I do plan on drilling a hole through the frame on the top bolt mount but will use a crush tube inserted in the frame and welded in place.Now can anyone see if I am doing it right or have I done something wrong..? I made some small support flanges that I will weld in between the lower two bolts for added strength.I do plan on welding it in different places so as to NOT warp the plate.

  2. With gussets it should be fine. Your pitman arm isnt that far below the frame rail. That's usually what kills the mounts.
