The car has 4” blocks, which unfortunately puts the car below rim height. I’m going to get rid of this problem by getting lower springs. I’ve driven it 10’s of thousands of mile on blocks with no shins, but I’m rebuilding everything, and just want to make sure I’m doing everything right so it’ll last as long as possible. Do I need to shim?
if it doesn't have the torque tube still, you might or might not need shims. You'll have to put it together and see what the pinion angle is. If it has a torque tube still, then no, you won't.
