Well, I'm a happy camper - I just put LEDs in my OT Ford diesel PU - and it now looks a little more "streetroddish"!

    2 birds with one stone!

OTOH, If I don't get the paint touched up soon, it'll start looking all traditional in patina, etc...

But - that can be counteracted by painted the steel rims BLACK!

Thank God for the useful stuff I learn on HAMB...

I feel sorry for you guys in Maryland, crazy woman judge just declared some guys FACTORY Pontiac lights illegal, she said she didn't care if the factory put them on, or that they were approved by the federal department of transportation. told him if he keeps driving his new car, she would keep fining him. what a load of .......... be careful with your rod taillights up there!! http://jalopnik.com/5589270/maryland-judge-decrees-pontiac-g8-gt-tail-lights-illegal

Mirror glass would seem to be a good idea, but I've actually tried the spray chrome, and that just doesn't do shit! It's not as reflective as you might think, at least not the Dupli-Color and Plastikote stuff I tried. I ended up just cutting down some existing nickel plated reflectors (this was on an old trailer, if you're curious).

They do look dork-tastic but are good for safety against all the retards on cell phones out there that are just looking for a nice old car to plow into the rear of. I'm willing to sacrifice a tiny amount of authenticity to keep my rod.
