Technical Do Ray Fog Lamps

I have pair of 5" Fog lights [amber lenz] that are 6v and I would like to get 12v bulbs..Bulbs in them are Avon 1133, 6-8v...I have one 12v bulb that I can only make out T1195, last number may also be a 3..Went to Headlight King but he is mostly sold out or only has one [not knowing what the one bulb I have is I'm afraid to get just one] and when I would look up the specs the number would change to something different, I gave up [actually got pissed]..Bulbs would be 2-pin straight across, single contact..Rp11 gl*** globe, 1-3/8ths dia. and about 2-1/8th overall lenth....Thanks

 

did you try napa? the last time i did a 12v conversion i bought the 12 bulb there.

 

You can use your original 6 volt bulbs by hooking them up in series- like this: http://www.cbforum.net/forum/index.php?topic=30443.0

 

Napa was the first hit and absolutly nothing..Good idea for wiring in series, that would be a good usable fix, at least as much light as original.. .A fellow converstioned me about using 1034 at 32 candle power but don't know if thats more or less than what I got..

 

Ted suggested 1034 which are 32 cp,,If Napa can find them..

Sorta funny but thats how it goes with me....my old friend said, "Did we look in my other box?" I didn't know there was another box; I got the one bulb from him..He looked in his other box and found me three more...sheesh..
