Do "TECH" questions go on Tech Board or GD

What's the proper protocol for tech questions . . . Post them on the Tech board with the appropriate prefix or put them in the General Discussion forum . . . or does it matter?

 

General discussion, only approved threads get moved into the tech board, after they've had their stay on the general discussion board.

 

Usually the Tech editors choose what they deem to be exceptional material for the Tech-o-matic.
