Do Threads/Post go away?

When someone starts a thread and if and when people post to it does it go to the top again or does it keep falling downwards?

when someone adds a comment it goes back to the top

 

Any new post to a thread will bring the thread back to the top however if a like is used the thread will not go back to the top. Only new post bring a thread back up to the top. Hobo Jim

When a post gets old we put it in the family station wagon and drive it out to a farm in the country where it'll have plenty of space to run around. Trust me they're happier there.

Yep, they move up unless a mod deletes them, then they disappear......
