Projects Do you fellas like art on the front or back of a t-shirt?

I think this is the reason why most tuxedos are black . . .


And for the record . . . I like bacon.

 

"On the back" is for antisocial folks who sort of want to make a statement but not really.
I like the graphics on the front where I interact with the world. That's where you see me coming and hear me talking. And when you come to my house you can use the front door like the honest folks. You don't have to scratch on the back door hoping I'll throw you a crust of bread.
I have a few tank tops that I wear for yardwork and every one I have or I've ever seen has the pizza on the front and nothing on the back. But that might be a moot point because I don't believe in wearing tank tops to town where the people are. I'll dress up in a T-shirt to go to town.

 

Large on the back and small on the front is far and away my preference. I like a pocket too but don't see 'em much. I need a place to put my reading glasses when not on my face and I lose 'em when hung on the collar. I think I only have two pocket T's and wear those two way more than any of my others.

 

Well Ryan, by now you should of known that you can't please everybody, and that your question was going to create the shitshow it has....so just make the decision on T-shirts yourself and you will please at least 1/2 half the folks, and the other half will probably buy one anyway....FWIW, print mine on the front of a white shirt

Front, back, and left sleeve. That covers all bases except for the right arm. Save that one to individualize, i.e. the person's name or nickname or ?

 

I'm sure the town folks truly appreciate that courtesy.

 

To me, Artwork on the front is about your lifestyle/what you’re into,,,Artwork on the back is just advertising where you’ve been or wish you had.
And only Black or White Tees found in this house,

 

And all Corvettes should be white, no other color .

Large on the back & small on the front where the pocket would be (if it had a pocket)

My new company shirts will be exactly that way. I am doing them in T-Shirt, Sweat shirt & Polo shirt styles this time!

If I'm going to something formal, my tie is going to cover up the large artwork on the front. Big on the back, small logo or name on the left front.

 

I totally agree with the Haynes beefy T's,

I am in charge of purchasing out club T's and always ask for the Beefy T's. HRP

 

Light color here in the South. Black soaks up heat like the pavement.
I don’t work in my rod shirts, that’s for old faded Carharts WITH A POCKET.
Also the Carharts are heavy duty and fit.
XL = XL, not XL = L like the latest black/blue Jalopy Journal issue. Disappointing.

 

Ryan, I'm with the guys who say small on front left "breast" and large on back. And in bright colors, I like bright color shirts, makes one stand out in a crowd ! Have TOO MANY black HD shirts with HUGE art on the front and the "bill board" on the back. I like my National Parks shirts as they have small front, large back. Just my 2 cents. Mitch

If it's on the back, at least the food, beer, blood and vomit doesn't ruin it...........

 

They have to be 39% cotton and at least 61% PTFE so I can slip out of tight situations when the need arises.

I did have some artwork done for some shirts a few years back and we printed a little larger than what would be on the front side in the center front and then bigger artwork on back. I liked that too…and they were all black shirts with white ink.

 

Doesn’t matter to me, I’m the odd man out who doesn’t wear t shirts except in the winter, under my western shirts, and they have to be white V necks. Can’t stand anything up around my neck, might be something from some of my kin folks a long time ago!

I only wear western shirts with snaps and blue jeans and western boots, year round. Old school trucker uniform, lol. Always have on a ball cap, too. I like darker colors on them, black, blue. And I have a fedora for riding around in my Lincoln….

the most important thing is that the design be on a good quality T shirt. a lot of people are selling T shirts on their You Tube channel, you don't know what it is printed on until you get it, by then it is too late.

I wear T shirts with something printed on them 95% of the time, it seems to me most are on the front.

I own only 2 shirts with collars

Never run clothes dryer on high heat. Just time to get dry. Most Lint comes after dry
