SWEET! As my kids were growing up, we built 7 Jr. Dragsters over the years, but I never thought of building a Jr. F.E.D. Might be next on the list of projects for my grand daughter!
Pretty neat, but it would be MUCH cooler if the engine was functional and the kid could steer. It looks like some youngster's Pop built a draggin' wagon so the kid wasn't stuck in a stock Radio Flyer. I saw an article in an old magazine for a "real" digger some kids built with an edger motor. Wish I could remember what mag it was.
Look at it again. There is tie rods, and a pivoting steering arm on it. It looks like the clutch could be pulling a chain from between the kids nuts. JC
I would but my kid just turned 10 and he is working on his own 64 F-100 ......He is spoiled enough........
So is this the start of the offspring to HA/GR, 'Jr FED' class to be run at all HAMB Drag events? I sure hope so! Doc.
If that was the case could my grandson run his car? It only runs high 7's at around 86 mph in the 1/8. LOL Oh wait I just realized you said FED
Junior Dragster? More like Junior "Fuel" Dragster! I like it. Bet there were a lot on envious kids looking at it too. Butch/56sedandelivery.
