Art & Inspiration Do you have a owners manual for your car or truck?

  1. A few years ago I went to a flee market 2 hours from home and found a glove box manual
    for a 40 Plymouth.
    I had sold mine but in the next town 2 brothers have a 40 which their grandmother had bought new.
    I gave it to them no charge, it cost me $2.00.

    I saved the one from my Dad's '67 Catalina before he sold it, still has the Protect-O-Plate with it. Love the artwork in the older manuals, you don't see stuff like that anymore! By comparison, the one with my OT Prius is well over 200 pages and reads like a set of stereo instructions. There's a number of basic line drawings, but they aren't even in color.

    Was lucky last fall to find an owner's manual for my '39 Chev. Unfortunately the manual shows the wrong engine. Must be some error as it only shows a 216 six, and not a SBC engine?
