This Movie Was out about the same time as ridgemont high, aloha bobby and rose < Camaro> .. It is okay.. I think it was filmed up here.. But I could be wrong..
Filmed in Edmonton I believe, weird movie for David Cronenburg. Totally cheesy and hilarious with a good dose of gratuitous 70's style*******. Recommendation...definitely watch it, even if it's only once and you're really drunk.
I thought it was filmed up here.. just forgot where.. the seen where the Funnycar is on the street was pretty cool..
It was filmed up here, Gary Egbert, Kenny sitko(did the parkinglot burnout) and I believe terry Capp were all involved in the filming. In one of the scenes you can see the old empress theatre and the old hub cigar. Little bit of Edmonton history, neat movie.
I used to work for Gary Egbert at egberts street rods. He loved to talk about all the people involved in the making of the film I may be mistaken but I think Ron hodgsen had some involvment as well. It would make sense as he was the financial means for alot of local racers here including Capp
NITROFC thanks for posting I have never heard about it. Now I will have to get a copy. The exact FC era I like most. Same era as my FC, a 77 Monza bun not on fuel.
