I was attending a car show today,and was talking with Mike (1lowtrk),when a guy walked up and commented about the tri-power setup on his truck. He told us that he pulled 2 similar setups out of a dumpster near his house. The one intake he said had a crack in it...so he scrapped it! The other,he still had at his house with the carbs still on it,and he wanted Mike to make him an offer on it. Fast forward to this evening,and Tiger Mark calls me to give them idea what this intake setup was worth that they bought off the guy for $20.00!!!!!!!!!! Intake is an Edelbrock,and the carbs are small-logo 97`s and they are chrome!
I felt kinda bad givin him only 20 but he was goin to scrap it! YELL RIGHT ................... It looks like you feel bad about it!

I don't think those guy's got ripped off, but I bet someone in that area did. Someone would have to be pretty lame to not know that's worth money to someone instead of just tossing it in the trash. Although I did see a early 50's chevy dash in my neighbors trash a few weeks ago...AND HE'S AN OLD CAR GUY!
