me and a mate of mine decided to do a cheap and quick roadster pick up project about 10 weeks ago. I havnt posted anything about it as we are using an independant front end and i know how angry that makes some people around here. what you guys in the US have to remember is that our build laws seem to be a bit stricter and we dont have the available front ends at our local swap meets for $50!!!
    anyway, back to our project.
it is a 25 dodge cowl mated up to a late 20's dodge tourer back end.
the chassis has been fabricated by us as has everything on the car up to date. this is a real budjet car and the only thing that we will farm out is the shortening of the tailshaft and recoreing of the radiator.
we finished the shifter and handbrake today and sat the body back on and i couldnt help but be proud of the job that we have done so far.
if you want to follow the build so far i have been posting lots of pics on our local Perthhttp://www.cruizin.com.au/newforum/thread-view.asp?threadid=2656&start=1
ok, i'll try and post a couple of pics of our interior tinwork,

fc...It's too bad you have to apologize for the front end you are using. Your work is fantastic and could be a big inspiration for the board. I think more than one previous poster has left due to the negativity towards their work....please post pics of ALL your work...front end included. Screw the "trad police"...they are rookies on the force!!!....(MORE PICS!!!!) [IMG]

thanks for all the positive comments guys.
my mate john is the real talented one when it comes to metalwork but i am slowly learning off of him.other than a hand operated swaging machine all of the floor work so far has been done with basic tools in my furniture{wooden) factory, were i really should be working on customers jobs but building rods is so much more fun.
all of that steel work will be painted and the only upholstery will be the seat cushions in the hand made bomber seats (john has already made a sample but we will have to make them just a touch smaller.
the roadster will also have a track nose and a duvall style screen
