Been looking for quite some time for wheel backspace info, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1930 Dodge DD6 4-door. We're about to put a 4-link in the rear but I would like to order the wheels so we can get the ride height set properly. I have a rear-end from a previous project that I would like to use that is 54.5" from WMS to WMS about 1.5" narrower than stock. I'm not tubbing the rear. Probably will end up putting 255 tires in the back. If I had everything welded in, it would be easy to figure out backspace but the we would be guessing ride height. 16" wire wheels. Any info on front suggestions would be good too. Putting a Mustang II style ifs kit up front. Does anybody have experience with this and can recommend a backspace? Pics? Much appreciated.
DO NOT use the cheaper IFS. Most of the mopar guys I spoke to used Fatman and would do so again. For the rearend, I had to get 1 1/2'' wheel spacers (if I remember correctly) even with the steel rims I had made for the 31 coupe. I will try to measure them up when I get a chance.
