Dodge cab

    Am fixing to help a friend chop a '41 Dodge pickup.....wondering if somebody in the Wichita Ks area has an extra cab or even just a extra top off a cab... It would sure make the chop go a lot eaiser if we had extra sheet metal. I think cabs from '41 to '47 including bigger trucks are the same....but not sure.     you can do the chop without an extra cab, just add about a 2-2 1/2" filler piese across the cab from door to door.here is a link to the one that i am making into my race truck you can see how I did the chop, but I also added a roll cage to it and I made the cab 3" longer for some more room inside.
    the difference is I had to add 5 1/2" across the top.
