Can anyone identify this engine? Engine number is 2B18456, possibly prefixed with KEW). The old guy who has it reckons he had the same type of engine in his ski boat and it was from a Fargo. Is it a 23 1/2 or 25 1/2 inch engine and what capacity? Thanks Louie the fly
The KEW was a prefix used in British production Dodges, and sometimes exported to Australia. The Dodge Power Wagon guys have researched production numbers fairly extensively. I'll include a few links for you to research their stuff. On the search page, just type in KEW. Good luck! http://www.t137.com/swish-e/swish.cgi http://www.t137.com/registry/help/otherengines/otherengines.php
Thanks KEW. as far as I could find out the engine was from a Chrysler Royal AP2 or similar. Anyway, not going to buy it as it is only a block, manifolds and a cracked head. Maybe you could answer a few other questions for me from time to time. Know where I can get a 230 ring gear?
