  1. Come on you can do your makeup at the track  I was going to go tonight and camp but, still need to :
    - finish the wheelie bars
    - finish the throttle cable
    - align the front end
    - put on a puke tank
    - mount the grill bars
    - hook up the evac lines
    - connect the line lock
    - run the valve lash again
    - load the sedan
    - load the car

Oh hell we must be sick in the head o_O

It looks like throttle cable, front end alignment and loading up are the only "must haves". Even after the car is done, the relaxing part doesn't start until you get to the track. Good luck and have fun.

  7. Thanks Dave! Its been a long strange trip and I would not do it again - wait - I would not have to do this - wait - never mind.

The list is done except the wheelie bars - just could not make the wheels fit. So it was like 8pm and my wife comes out and says I am tired of pushing this piece of junk around, does it run? :);):(:cool::p:D:eek::oops::rolleyes:o_O Hell I don't know get in!

Man Quain must know his stuff because I was just fooling with her and I hit the starter and I'll be damned if it didn't fire right off ! No priming even. Well now she was in a pickle because the passenger door handle was not installed - punch list list #33 . Ooops. I fished around and found reverse and off we went around the neighborhood. Dogs barked, babies cried, old men fainted, young women chased, all the while my wife kept working on that passenger door :D

Good times will be had. I cannot promise a good race as it drives like a UPS truck, but it should be a large time.

Very nice. I know it's always a hit when I drive the coupe around the neighborhood. Have some fun now.

Can't think of anything that was bad about it, my wife came and took pictures and she brought the 16 year old neighbor kid - he had never been to a race before. He was speechless. Oh yeah Tyler did break his digger, but not too bad we hope. Good times and good people. Here is what I have.

Major thanks to everyone in the SFCC and brothers who don't need a club. That's a big list!

  19. Gotta love the woman :D she was excited at the start and kept hitting the button on the camera, so the start was chopped up video clips  stitched them as good as I could :)

My tach was working on the first 2 runs. The tattle tale was at 7500 and the rev limit on the mag was set to 7800, it went up there like nothing. Hope its just the cable broke or something.

Looks as if a great time for all but Tyler, hope his ain't too serious. Too many times of things going wrong for his rail.
Me? I'm still in the middle of a cluster fuck on this tree work. Won't bore all these folks with the gory details, but will tell yall about it later. Goddam pine trees still standing and I'm expecting another full day at least of this shit.
