    Whats a Lumpy roller cam?

lots of overlap sounds cool but that thing wouldnt make any boost if the cam wasnt spec'd out, it would just push it out the exh.

When it comes to stuff like that, dont believe a word unless there is hard proof.

My two cents, most everybody is right: carbs too small, poor heads, street blower cannot get you to 750 - here's the problem i see: the motor is probably hurt, the carbs are too small and the motor has run hot cruisin and has detonated under a load. He wants to sell this for some reason and i bet you'll have internals to deal with right soon. Good luck and i hope i'm wrong, oj

Ya,it has the MSD timing selector on the dash .Im not interested in it anyway now since what everyone here has said.It sounds like he is just trying to unload his problem on someone else while its still running at all .I already caught the guy in a lie when he told me at first the trans was a brand new B and M prepped 400 T,i called him back a while ago and asked him about how well it shifts .Now he says the trans works well because he had it in a Suburban for a year before he put it in the truck( i looked at the pics from the side of the motor and the trans looks nasty and dirty at the bellhousing) ,and the rearend went from a posi out of a Chevelle to a single track out of a Monte Carlo from yesterday to today he changed his story on me.Im out .The guy is full of **** .I guess he forgot which lie he told me yesterday...

Just out of curiousity(and possibly ignorance), how does the power brake setup work with a blower motor??

you can put in a "one-way" valve in line to the resivour so vacuum only pulls and it hold vacuum under boost. Im sure there are other ways as well.

  10. 720 Hosers eh!?

Keep the Falcon for now. That pickup looks like a typical redneckjeggsummit build-up.

Your right TMAN .It is a redneck reject truck.I was just after the running gear for something else to build and then junk the truck and put it out of its misery. The wannabe tilt front end on it is beyond gay looking .Since the running gear is not what he claims it was the truck has no interest to me now .My Falcon may not have a blower on it but atleast i know what it has in it.I bet that 350 is nothing but a smog motor long block from some motor exchange outlet or Autozone with a blower on it ,like XG***er was saying...

Plenty of vacuum between the carbs and the blower. It is possible to take your vacuum source below the blower as you would see a pretty high vacuum signal if the blower is tight and the engine isn't under load. That is sort of the way I have the vacuum booster set up on my turbo truck.

720? I seriously doubt it. I just ran some basic numbers through my Desktop Dyno 350 SBC, street strip roller cam, stock heads and 8.5:1 comp ratio and came up with just over 440 HP@ 5000 rpm and 483 ft/lbs of torque at 3500 with 5 to 8 PSI of boost at 1:1 drive ratio.

Over driving it by 30% will see a bit over 500 HP but there is a point of diminishing returns on those heads.
