planning on switching the rear crossmember from a 37 to a 36 to lower it some,
looking at the 36 crossmember, does it use the same 37-40 rear spring
have the 36 rear radius rods.
    hmm
    is it just 33 and 34 that uses a curved spring 35 36 37 38 39 all the same
even though the 36 crossmember is different
    OR
considering the crossmember from this chassis was bolted in
is it incorrect for a 36 chassis - it being lower
and could be from an earlier chassis

Curved spring only on the 1932-‘34 cars.

    nobby's 1936 ford pickup project 10 March 2024 (youtube.com)
so that rust covered rear cross member in that 36 frame isnt a 36..
    ?
this might be what is foxing me
as it did have 35 36 radius rods and the 36 axle...
this rear crossmember was bolted in - not stock rivets

    so it is a 33 34 rear x member?

A 33-34 crossmember will have the center portion curved to hold the curved spring.
