Pretty sure that's the replica of Richard Johnson's 1962 Revell-Pactra contest-winner "Pegasus" that topped the 1963 Revell-Pactra trophies.

Here is my trophy. Don't know where the little plaque is, thats why I can't remember when and where I won it.

    Hope that helps.

Forgive me for jumpin' in here, but I sure dig the early Monogam '32 Ford Coupe model. I've been keepin' a look out (ebay, fleamarkets, etc.) for a kit that is unbuilt and has a minty box. What would be keen is a reissue, but I'm sure it wouldn't be "motorized". I always loved the decal sheets supplied with these early Monogarm kits. :)

You are all correct! It seems this trophy also was done in a silver color, which is what mine is. I won it back then with a custom 57 bubbletop T-Bird model. It went to the regionals, and the guy that won the regionals went on to win the National Award. Kicked my*****?

As far as value, the trophies seem to be worth somewhere between $25-100, depending upon condition, and how bad the buyer wants one.

It's a highly recognized and respected trophy from those years.

Here's mine, Revell Second National Open Custom Car, Intermediate Division , First Place. I won this in Aug 1964 at Happiness House (local hobby store) in Scottsdale AZ. with a Candy apple red AMT 1940 Ford model. Also won Best Paint. Yes! i still have the car but i was in the process of repainting and never finished.
