For a brief time in 1956 I owned a sprint car built by Dusty Thacker, probably in 1954 or 55. It was built utilizing parts from the old Duchess Car, circa the thirties. I believe Dusty built it in Vancouver Washington. It was eventually powered by a 270 Horning GMC. If anyone knows where I can get a photo of the car I would appreciate it. The car had a rail frame and smooth tail - no headrest. Thanks, Aero
