Here's a few, there's not a whole lot going on in the back and not a whole lot of leg room.

  6. Does anyone know where that car came from originally? It looks very much like a friend of mine's 34 that was built in the mid 50's.Had a 57-58 Olds motor and for awhile had a 6-71 on it.Guys name was Carl(Bunny)Beatrice and he was a driver for **** Roberts' AA/GD,"North Wind" in the early 60's.He died of leukemia when I was in the service(around 1966)and was only 27.Never knew what became of the car.

I believe that is/was and old HOT ROD. redone in the Portland Oregon area by a member of the Tie Rods. the maroon 48 chevy next to it is a Portland car... don't know what it is doing in New York now.

yeah... I'd dump that grille too.

Charlie Haskall(sp) used to own that car. If someone knows how to get ahold of him, he'd have more info.

  9. here is only pic I have of this car....I think this was taken on the west coast- I saved it a couple years ago....
That 32 shell would look great if only it were leaned back a couple inches....

Yeah, I think I'd lean it back to match the angle of the cowl.

Here is the pics that were on ebay. The date said august 2003 so it was some time ago. But I knew I had them saved. 34 5 windows are my current favourites. Damn you RocketDaemon.... ;)

thanx magnus for the 2003/2004 ebay pics, i saw that car on ebay then and just like 2 days ago i damned myself for not saving the pics back then, otherwise i had all other pics everyone else posted here already, awesome thread... the sad part is that the current/last owner just p***ed away some weeksago, seems he was an close friend of one of myfriends RIP!

i love that car its awesome, some stuff i do not really like bout it, not going to clone it, will be alot of differances from mine, mine will run an olds rocket swell though, probally blackwalls and halibrands or american racing magnesium wheels, anyhow eventhough i always loved 33-34 5w coupes , i was about to buy one 5-6 years ago, never happend, some weeks ago i realised especially when i was looking on the golden 34 here, that darn i must have an 34 5w coupe aswell... found one, bought it, selling of almost all of my other cars. just sold my 61 falcon, 1946 chrysler coupe, having up for sale one 51 victoria, 57 studebaker, 1952 kaiser, anyhow getting rid of 5-6 cars to realise my true dream, an olds powered 1933-34 coupe mmm :)

The same goes for me. I bought a 33 5 window after seeing this car. Mine will have a Rocket Olds too but it will be blue instead of gold.

  21. It's wearing a New Jersey plate in all the pictures .That plate is more than 30 years old.We were using the tan plates in the 70's. Late 70's early 80's we went with the blue plates.Don't like the trunk welded up But in the north east that how we did it.My 32 was like that too what a job to cut it back open. But it is a nice car none the less ,

    Hey Daemon>>

Sounds like a great plan. I just love Rockets so thumbs up from me. When it comes to 33-34 with 32 radiator shells, I think Tobbe from Jokers has the nicest looking car. I just love it.

I would probably not channel it and not lower it so much. I like them high for some reason. Flathead powered with a high Tattersfield/Baron 4x2 intake mmm... :D
