Found this on that site... you know the one by the _bay....

This auction is for a pair of drum to disc brake conversion brackets which will convert your 1941-55 Cadillac to front disc brakes. These pieces are CNC laser cut and professionally welded from 1/4" cold rolled steel for excellent tolerance control. No machine work whatsoever is required on your spindle; it does not even need to be removed. This conversion uses the following components:
1996 GM 1/2 ton pickup rotors (regular cab, gas only) 1969-78 Cadillac Eldorado calipers and pads

Some of our customers have used the existing single chamber master cylinder with good effect. We do not know if it will fit inside the stock rims, but it is doubtful. Note: this auction is for a pair of brackets, spacers and install info only, though we can sell a complete lower kit. Email us direct at m@scarebird.com for the install guide.EBrackets are zinc plated gold for longevity and beauty. .
Just wondering if anyone knows about this???? Have a concern firstly with the "we do not know if it will fit inside the stock rims, but it's doubtful." If you're building them don't you have a vehicle to test fit on? Wanting to run '53 Eldo wires on it and have my first concern there...

I bet the guy made a set for his car and his wheels didn't fit. So he is living with it and making more same as his. Maybe your wheels will fit. He hasn't tried every wheel Cad ever made. But his didn't and he thinks there is a very good chance yours won't either. I kind of went through the same thing when I bought adapters for my car off eBay.

You can buy them right from thier web site. My experience is I have a set on my '67 Mustang and it worked out good.

but certin 4 lug wheels dont work small hubcap
and others do large hubcap wheels
so not knowing what wheels you are useing

Bought a set for my wife's Comet wagon. Stock wheels didn't fit like he said and I got a set of Datsun 240Z 14" wheels (same bolt pattern as 4 lug Ford) that worked perfect. Nice quality brackets.

Do you really believe he hasn't tried stock rims?
It's obvious to me, he knows, but he's ****ing lying, just hoping somebody will buy the things with hopes the stock rims will fit............................

Thanks all for the info... Also knowing he's a vendor here makes me feel much more comfortable... I understand what you all are saying about not trying on everything... Just when you fabricate something special for a certain vehicle... but... gives me more confidence...
