This photo was in an article in Traidtional Rod and Kulture spring 2007. It was taken at Mooneyes 2006 I guess. Does anyone have any more photos, know about the paint or suspension?
im believin that to be a 53..unless some one took the front fenders and grill off of a 53 and put it on a 54..thats possible. sorry no other in-put but that..
Bel Air Coupe with a modified tranny support. Only way to get it layen flat. Chopped ..looks like 2-3 inchs. Air bagged either a IFS kit in front or modifed original front. Id would say IFS cause of the camber on the fronts. C-Notched rear. Seen it.. no ..
99% sure, unless it got a "new" front end during its life, like you said. I guess that could be one of the rare vette grill bars but I haven't really seen one of those in real life before.
Never seen a vette grill like that..werent the signals in the grill on 53's?? Looks like a 54 inside with the signals hacked and center bar modified. 53 fenders thou
yes the 53 had the round signals in the grill at each end..what i think he was refering to was the possibility that might be a corvette center bar..or a 54 chevy center bar in a 53 grill im pretty sure that car is a 53 ,,not a 54 with 53 front fenders and grill.
ooh I see... 53 grill with a 54 center bar...but that doesnt explain something to me cause the 54 had the turn signals as part of the center bar?
thats a 53 grill..and 53 front sheet metal..as far as the back half, only the title can tell. the grill has been modified the 53 blinkers removed and possibly a 54 vette bar or a 54 sedan bar was used to customise the grill insert.. looks bitchin no less
