Technical Does anyone know of Rocco and Cheater's Speed Shop?

    There's a big thread on here about it. I bought some stuff from them @anthony myrick ran over and handled the whole transaction.

    I think the speed shop closed quite a few years ago like 2007. American pickers went through the warehouse a few years ago.
    My family moved to Birmingham in 1953. Rocco and Cheaters speed was the place to go for whatever you needed. The Mickey Thompson mags on the front of my 1956 210 post Chevy high school driver came from Rocco and Cheaters.

    Was there ever a better name for a speed shop??

    I'z born 'n reared in Jefferson County, AL, bought what I could afford at Rocco and Cheater's Speed Shop until I wento the Army in 1968.
