They are real, apparently reading comprehension is not your strong suit. Once again, Tman hits the nail on the head. I guess they didnt notice, probably to busy posing for photoshoots.
Nice looking tubs and not looking to start **** but are the cars real Phaetons or cut down sedans or Gl***. I really like the look of both of them and yes I would change a few thing but it's not my car and taste is to the owner!! If the 31 tub is a real one then a Very Rare one and just wonder about the body itself. I have been looking for a original body and hear they a weak and have issues. The 32 Pheaton is cool as well but them are easy to find. Just can't get enought of them tubs, You guys need to get my 33 tub and do your thing I'm gonna stick with my Model A..
Mutt I just looked at the last 10 pages of your 5000 plus post. What shows up is your desire to throw out words like " idiot, lame, ****s , hate and so on". The only time you have anything postive to say it seems is about your own car. It would seem to me that you have little to give this site other then to be a ***hole!
alot of guys dont want the same old catalog **** on thier rods. Different is not always bad. Most of the people on here care to much about being cool, or street cred. Dont feel bad we all get a little jealous sometimes. Your cool too.
Hey mullet or muttley or what ever your name is maybe you could hop in that piece of **** comet and head over to the grand canyon and look for your parents.
You Ohio Boys are putting out some bad*** cars. All the **** talking is funny. Anyway I've adjusted this graph to make it a little more accurate.
Was I seeing things, or were the gray tub and the black tub shown earlier in the thread at the Pile-up last weekend? I wanted to get a closer look but they were gone by the time I got a chance to go looking for them later in the day.
I was workin' the gate at Pile-up and one, possibly two tubs rolled in that reminded me very much of these. Put me down for one "Ohio Bar", the official argument starter of the H.A.M.B., or at least this thread.
Yes #513 was there as well as this #9 tub. It was originally born in Ohio long ago but has been drastically changed and now resides in Indiana. He's close enough to be an Ohio Tub... He's on here, maybe he'll post a better picture. I was very impressed with the Pile-up. We had plans in downtown Chicago so we couldn't stick around. I'm sure we will next time.
Hey bull, django and chris 50....that was the "513" tub of "Atub" that you saw at the Pile-Up and the other was Andy out of the Indiana tub-club division with his black #9 car...yet another that has been driven to the west coast and back...I was driving my "late model", 46 ford flat maroon coupe behind them...my now infamous spreader bar #4 tub was sold and is in Laguna Beach, Ca now..we were rolling through with our better halves on our way to Chicago for the weekend, great show! Thanks,32csr
you know what they say , "even bad press is good press" you do build some *****in rides man and you do deserve that recognition..
Yes...Thanks... That's what this is all about -- To build hot rods, drive the **** out of them and check out others along the way.
Wish I would have been able to get a closer look (and some pics) at these fine rides. Very nice! Next year?
Dam Josh - I can't draw a one legged stick man. I was really hoping that you would have pinstriped it in teal... Oh, that's already been done on a yellow roadster that I see from time to time.
Wow, I definitely didn't see the #9 car, or I probably would have pee'd my pants. Gorgeous. I'm glad you guys came to the show.
Drama aside(DAMN). Give us some details on these cars. I really like the #9 tub. I have a lowly little T- Touring but need to "graduate" up a few years. Always like to hear the details. Forget all this drama - give us the meat on these cars so we can appreicate them more. For some reason I do not have the issue of Hop Up you speak of...
Thanks for the nice compliments. My tub was originally built by a guy in Cincy, last name of Clifton. In the mid 80s it was a bright yellow highboy with red scallops. I changed it up when I got it 3 1/2 yrs ago. There has to be a bunch of tubs stored somewhere. The magazines in the 70s and 80s were full of them. Here are some better pics.
you clever little ******, are you just trying to hurt us ohio guys feelings? congrats on the little rodder getting home.
Thanks for the words about Juli... The other thing... just tryin to lighten the mood. I love the tubs... Mr Richcraft... Thom... the whole lot of ya. But I love Muttley too.
