I have a continued need for patch panels for the section behind the wheel (bottom of fender) on '40 Ford rear fenders . I've made these myself from 16ga. and had to make hammerforms and such . It takes hours and hours to fabricate this area correctly , lots of shrinking . Does anyone produce these ? Even if it's a two piece operation to go all the way around , I'd be well ahead . Thanks .
Thanks , but EMS doesn't make them and I had to leave a message at Genes and haven't heard back yet . I'll probably have to make them again myself . Seems like someone would be producing them .EMS makes the front of the rear fender (they don't fit but it gave me something to start with ), but the rear of the fenders seem to usually be rougher than the front . Any other ideas ? My google searches turn up squat .
I'll check it out . I just checked their website and they were not listed . I'll give them a call . Thanks .
Wait , I just noticed you listed the front piece that I already have , I need the rear piece (under tail light). Hey BBOB , you got a phone # for Howell's ? Thanks guys
I just came across this thread again.A year old,but I never did find anyone who makes these pieces. All the sources above came up dry. This is the third set that I've made myself and I've seen many(almost all)fenders in swap meets that need attention in this area. Some one needs to produce these!
