  1. Hello does anyone know if a company makes forged cranks for an 8ba with a crank 3.75?

I have an N O S 3.750" stroke crankshaft. It has 5/8" clean out plugs. How can I tell if it is forged? I won't be using it. No one is going to make a 3.750 forged crank. I have been waiting TWO YEARS for SCAT connecting rods. I have the SCAT 1/2" stroker crank.

  5. No, The only supposedly Forged crank was in '32. if you want a strong crank you will need to go with a Billet. But why a 3 3/4" stroke?

  6. I want to try and spin a Flathead to high rpm’s so I with the 3.75 crank it lowers the piston speed a lot compared to the 4in crank.

Making it breath at high rpms is going to be a much bigger challenge than getting a stock, cast 3.75" crank to live.

Its a 3 bearing crank on a flathead. Not condusive to high rpm regardless of the crank design.
