I have two pieces of either stainless or chrome. They look like they would be for a convertible but can't figure them out. Any help out there?

The string is 11 fingerlings to the pineapple. The chrome is from the 7th 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe ever built, so hang on to it.

The 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe and the 1930 Essex Tri-Directional, in spite of being manufactured in different countries, had coachwork that was designed by a couple of engineers that went to different high schools together. They were very similar, and it is said that those two particular pieces (made of Aludium Chromide, by the way) were interchangeable between the two vehicles, although the Tri-Directional used Whitworth threads.

Are you talking about the same pieces you inquired about last year in July? But got no answer?

FYI...FNGs seem to get more help if they at least do an introduction as requested.

Here's the picture you managed to post in your previous thread.

The pieces look to be from a 60s style car of some sort.

You're good now. It's just a formality to show respect for the forum. I don't know what the trim pieces are from...but let's bump your thread again to see if someone knows.
