Event Coverage Does anyone recognize this 1961 car show?

    08192014.jpg .....I took these shots at Aquasco in the Summer of 1966. The Mori Brothers V-8 Volkswagen in primer and one of Malcolm Durham's Strip Blazer Chevelles...........Don.

    Thread-from-the-dead time!
    By a million-to-one shot, I found the photos of the Vette today. This shot was definitely taken at the same 1961 car show; the Sidewinder, Deuce coupe, and kustom Chevy are in the same places, so that mystery is solved :). I'll do a separate thread with all the pics next.

    so where was the show? who put it on? and was it 1961?

    I just received a pm from @Eightydeuce and he Identified the show as the Ram Rods car club's 1961 "rods & customs" show at the armory in Washington, DC....
