History Does anyone recognize this old Track T?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by SamIyam, Nov 5, 2023.

  1. I saw this old Track T pop up on FBM last week. I was too late to pull the trigger and lost out on buying it. Anyway, a closer look at the pictures I took screen shots of reveals some really nice work like an aluminum belly pan and nose, chrome, and what’s that? Front wheel drive??!! I hope it gets saved and we get to see more of it. But the big question, does anyone remember it? Was it ever in a magazine? 2. p.s. It looks like a VW transaxle up front, but what kind of engine is that?

Unique Hot Rod ... I like creative thinking, that's what real Hot Rodding is all about.

All I know is that it could use different sheet metal from the cowl foreword. Would look way better.

My guess would be FWD Audi, with extensive mods to the suspension. An enormous amount of effort expended for not much return.
