Art & Inspiration Does Anyone Remember This Car Kit?

From when I was 13.

 

I think I remember when they were for sale but I wasn't into that style. I was also 17 and my car took every dime I made that I didn't spend at the burger joint.

 

Looks a bit like the manta ray. I think Lindberg had one around that time called like the gt200 or something like that which was a bubble top.

Love the box art; their ****s are sitting right on the rear axle. Maybe having 2 antennas makes up for the discomfort.

 

Talk about discomfort, they're sitting in a gl*** bubble and he's smoking a pipe.

It's 1/12 scale, always wanted one when I was collecting large scale models... love the halibrand kidney bean wheels.
