does it seem to far gone to even mess with? the guy has a different one in his barn so maybe that would would be better. any idea what year model this may be?
its really hard to tell with all the growth, but from what i can see it sure looks salvagable, and if i found that in the woods id sure snag it. also depends on what you plan to do with it. are the doors there? those might be kinda hard to find if theyre not. not positive on the year or make
perhaps if it was free I'd take it for parts.... You can find nice truck cabs for around 500 bucks if you look....
If I had a choice of barn find or rust bucket I'd probably be after the barn find. I'd be as apt to tackle that as anyone, but if you don't know if its too far gone it probably is. I'm thinkin' mid thirties also.
Isn't that what some of you guys call petina? Just get it runnng and I guarentee there will be someone going down on themselves over it.
The white stuff looks like a mix of bird **** and forrest mold. Get it out of the weeds and take a better look, It could be workable!
that is a late 35/36 ford.Ok the reason i know is i have a late 35 .Now if you look at the rear swage line on the cab it's lower than the 35 (not so arched)also the a pillars run into the cowl ,on a 35 there is a distinct line between the a pillar and cowl just like 31/32/33/34's.If you look at the dash inside you can also tell if it's late 35 or 36 by the number of large clock holes .a 35 will have 1 a late 35-36 will have 2.That truck looks salvageable but you never got to see mine now it's on he road.I say go for it .i think it maybe a late 35 but also look at the door garnish mouldings if they are part of the door it's a 35 seperate say 36 also the rubber gl*** bumpers on the door where the gl*** runs are they both sides if so 35 if not 36 gotta say the grill looks 35...........................marq
Are you kidding me????? That thing isn't worth .02!!!!! .........i'll give you double your money back!!!! j/k drag it out and build it!
Wow, I didn't know lichen could grow on steel. I've only ever seen it on rocks and tree bark. Guess it IS really, really humid in Louisiana.
