I just got through totally re-wiring my car and have an issue with my turn signals. I can get the signal lights all to light up, but not flash. I have all new flashers and have power going through them.(both signals and hazard)

With the hazard ****on pushed it does nothing at all.

I also am not getting the brake lights to light with the pedal, but I haven't checked to see if the brake switch is bad yet(doubtful) but the brakes are fedd through the signal switch.

I'm stumped. It's not a ground issue, all new wires and connections. The only thing old is the steering column.

If you remove the flasher do the lights still light up? If you put a jumper wire in place of the 4 way flasher, do the lights light up when you turn the 4 ways on? The turn signal flasher should be a lighter duty because it only draws power from 2 bulbs at a time. Electronic flashers will work with almost any number of bulbs. We would need to know more about the vehicle, steering column/turn signal switch and wiring harness.
