When I shipped my 48 Olds from Texas to Oregon I didn't pay for it till the car arrived. Then I paid the shipper before he dropped the car. There are all sorts of different shipping plans available. Bottom line is don't let go of your car until you have the ***le.

i sold 2 motorcycles to a fella in japan, he had a shipper who in turn had a lithuanian driver pick up the motorcycle at my shop, they paid me in cash, thats reasonable. holding onto a grand may not seem legit, but i have bought several cars from people and promised a ***le only to never get one. i bought a shoebox from a fellow hamber in detroit and waited 2 years 2 months and 6 days for the ***le every time i would ask he would say that he had or was sending it that day, for 2 years the car was unusable, if you had the ***le there would be no problem, so you can only expect him to be a little uneasy

 

Next time you talk to him ask for his number?? Then one of us can help......
