I shouldnt even reply to this thread, But with that set up shouldnt you be over at the 'Ol Stool Rodz Forumn ?

At 120" wheel base your at least 20" to long for a Modified Roadster.

Both Front & Rear supension set up are Terrible & need MUCHO attention.

Completely out of Proportion & is the Poster child of a "Ol Stool RAT ROD ..

    Sorry Man .... You asked.

I know, I should have waited until I got everything closer to where I want it. I know the scrub line story, everyone wants to make a big deal about that even if they don't read my comments about it not being mounted yet.
However, I'm glad to hear comments about the rear. My hands were tied this weekend into trying it out with what I had to work with. Now that it it all mounted, I'll find that plan B will have to be taken. the wheel base is 120", I must have missed the 1 key. I'm not going to take any flaming personal, as I've thought the rear setup through today - It probably isn't going to work. But you know how tunnelvision works when you get in a zone in the garage. Sometimes you churn stuff out before you consider that you're wasting your time sometimes.

Good advice on your suspension above. Start over on that, soon.

But, as you are stacking parts and figguring out you want it to look like. Have someone, your size, sit in the pile o' parts. Too many cars get built and surprise the owners when they look like Bullwinkle in a pedal car in their new pride and joy. The result of too much channelling...

    Good luck.

Ain't that what this board is all about?

I'm still VERY LOOSELY setting this thing up. Bullwinkle - ha, I've thought that through, I laugh when I see a T-bucket with a high bench seat and you see the guy driving from the waist up. Anyway, I'm not crazy - or trying to be extremely radical. I'm just fitting parts that I have so far. I'm not going to run out and buy a $300 drop axle, the car will just have to sit a little higher. I'm not driving it yet, that's why I'm mocking it up. I am glad I posted on here at this stage - I've rethought the rear setup. I want the car to have a vintage flavor, but I don't want it to look like an off-road buggy either. It'll come around

Sounds like you are going to survive in the hamb world just fine.
Looks like you play with fire, love your tools and most of all take a little flaming yourself with dignity.
You will get this ride figured out like all of us have to do on a new build. I do everything 3 times so much I nick name all my projects (the Earnhardt).

This is a traditional hot rod site, not a rat rod site...
