My daughter bought me one of those "Busted knuckle garage" signs, and I felt obligated to hang it up. I like my larger "GO AWAY" sign better though.
One of the things we rescued from this garage was the sign over the work bench (which is now hanging over my dad's work bench)...
Fairweather Garage. Cuz thats the only time I can use it. And in MN, that equates to roughly 13.4 days per year.
The Poncho Barn, of course!! I'll post some pics of it on here one of these days, it's pretty much self-explanatory.
My kids call it Monster Garage, I call it "The too far gone Rod Shop" I used to call it "Street Dreams" until some rod shop nearby ripped the name off, theyre out of business now though...
I call mine Maxwell Garage and its even got a web site, www.MaxwellGarage.com, where I explain where the name came from and complain about the local government that has so far thwarted my efforts to actually build a shop.

Hey, we've got a Chapter of the 'He-Man/Woman-Haters' Club. Just a group of Harley ridin'/hot-roddin' fools that get together every other Thursday, to swap lies, work on stuff, drink beer, smoke cigars, and oogle women. Of course, most of us are married. But, it's 'Guys-Night-Out'. We generally gather in someones garage. We also have a Chapter in Detroit, and a few others.
Cedar Speed - I live on cedar ln. also call THE shop or spousel avoidance center should call it the big house because it is bigger than my house 32X60 damn i need more room.
My wife calls it "out there again".... I'd prefer to call it Shadetree Restyling... but haven't felt inclined to set up a DBA and get that going..
Crushproof is typically referred to as "the shop" and the little garage behind the house is "The Creepy Room" (thanks to my wife) best name we have come up with so farwas for a little (and I mean tiny) shed Sciflyer was given after they tore down his old garage-It was called "The Hellyeah Hut" good times in a box slightly larger than my toolbox...
It's either the " Shop " or " ****hole ".... depending on wether or not I can find what I'm looking for...
you and your fancy French words. Whatever happened to CARHOLE!? Mines just the shop for now. Once I'm all moved in I will properly christen it something really creative. (hint... i can't think of anything)
