My Grandfather with his Dodge Coupe with a tow rig in the trunk that he used in his Business, Fred Ballew Auto Repair 428 E. Pine Street, Stockton California. 1916 to 1968. (The dog's name was "Tim").
I've had a couple of dogs that loved going in my trucks including a Shepard/border Collie that was usually with me in the 48 in Texas in the mid 70's and may have gone for early Sunday Morning rides with my buddy Jr Fisher in his truck as they were pretty good buds at the time. All my photos of my Aussie Harley are in my 71 and OT for here though.
Dog in my avatar rode with me for 15 years. Hard to get use to not opening the back door for her to jump in. Her ashes will go together with mine eventually.
My English Bulldog does not like riding in my truck, car or even putting a harness on, I guess the 6 hour ride from where we got her was enough to break the habit so to speak. Whenever we go to the vet she thinks I’m going to throw her off a bridge or something
