    from just moved

An opportunities arose for me and my family to potentially move up to New York (somewhere in brooklyn). Im feeling both sides of the spectrum, excited to move to the city but am also reluctant cause it seems like its now going to be almost impossible to work on cars anymore.

Im posting to hear from other HAMBers that live in and around the city and see what they have to say about doing what they love in a place not very conducive to their passion.

Brooklyn is the shit. Invest in a parking garage space when you get here. I'm on long island and there are a shit load of hot rods up here good luck

You will be surprised. It may take some time but you can score a garage somewhere. Once you get settled and start asking around. Slim

Brooklyn is a tough place to work on a car do to the lack of space, but it can be done. I have a tiny garage and I'm tripping over shit all the time, but I manage.

Feel free to IM me if you have any question about it here. And welcome to NY - glad to have you!
