You might want to hit GG Indy this year. I'm pretty sure I've seen that car there in the past... although I haven't hit one in the last 2 years.

I focus taking photos of cars I really like and ones with more of a traditional flavor and try to avoid ones that might cause "drama":D

Thanks bud! Looking forward to checking the links out.

Next time stop and say hi or come to a Meet & Greet and meet lots of HAMB folks.

I think that's a GREAT idea and any time you want to take a road trip with me and Megan in your modified, you are more then welcome to stow your stuff in Big Olds.

Chad, if I see the car in Indy I will take detailed photos of the top and bows. If the owner is there I will ask him for his number or email address for you.

I'll probably be in town for the Day of the Drags. Please introduce yourself, I'd like to meet you as well.

    Hey Denise,

Just wanted to say it was great meeting you and your Dad. Made some new friends and caught up with a few old friends. Sure hope you and Jim decide to make it again next year. Hopefully you will see my ragged old Poncho there next year.

Be sure and tell Megan that she missed the "Smoky Mountain Pancake House".

Great coverage and pics as usual!!!!!:D

this was the first year I have missed in a long time. It was always the start of the road trip season for me. I had to call my SC buddies on Sat to make sure it had rained

Nice meeting you Skye and your husband.
We enjoyed getting to know Denise's father (Jim) better even though we have met him in the past but only briefly. Jim is a wealth of knowledge and it is good to talk to someone who can really talk about "back in the day" when back in the day was not 5 years ago.
Did you notice that Jim had "Denise's Dad" as his name on his nametag,,,,we had to laugh.

  14. Not so much a runny nose as a serious case of varicose veins!!

It was great to see you again and meet your dad. I loved all the pics. You know you are the only one who can get a smile out of Tom. Hope to see you around this summer. Thanks again for all the great pics.

Denise it was great to see you again. Your Dad is a Hoot. I'll catch you at Louisville. We didn,t see as many cars on the trip home. We got a pick and stayed for the awards. it seemed like a lot of folks left early. Jay

Dad's really enjoys your company as well.....or maybe he likes your company cuz AJ is always with you.;):D

If someone makes pancakes this weekend at the Jalopy Showdown I'll make sure Megan puts her "pancake shirt" on before breakfast.:D

He attends quite a few NSRA events but folks always turn and wonder cuz it's a '48 98 model which looks like a '49 and as we all know the NSRA events are pre'49.

I'm looking forward to seeing you in B'ville as well. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can make it.

    :D I didn't realize you were a HAMB member.:D
Please say hello to all the guys at Advance....especially Tom and I'm looking forward to seeing them, and you, soon.

Congrats on the pick bud! What was it for?

  19. :)Fantastic photos Denise :p Great to see your commentary....almost like being there ;)
Woody and I are looking forward to meeting up with you at the "Jalopy Showdown" this weekend. :D Are you bringing Dad and Megan? We plan to leave at 6am......pending fog....
    SeeYa:cool:

Dad no, not his cup of tea. Megan yes, she is bringing her roadster. We are camping. Will hopefully see you on Saturday if we haven't turned into popsicles by then.:D

  21. Be sure to bring heavy outerwear.......and inner wear for camping. It has been
hanging in the 40's here.....with more rain on the way and windy....ugh!
