Thanks....If I keep it, next winter will bring a MII front clip, some sort of v8 and a 4link....... I may look for something a little older to put together...
Thanks for making me realize how much more work I have to do on mine! ........Looks nice, printed out a pic of it and stuck in on my wall of inspiration!! Now drive that sumbitch and enjoy!
man sinner that car has come a long ways looks good you know im wanting to put the lake pipes on my 53 and everyone is telling me not too they say it makes the car look higher....... i dunno i think your looks good with em. is you exhaust run into them and then split to run out the back or are they just for looks (funtional or non-functional) i also like the bull nose strip might have to go that route to seeing how previous owners of my 53 did a shiity job on filling the seam
Alex.....I figured you might like the color Saoutlaws Gottti, I stuck the pipes on to kind of fill that little gap when the car is aired out, right now they are not functional, and to tell you the truth, IMO, they are pretty cheaply made. I may hook them up, but Im not sure yet.
I love the look of this car. I would have liked to seen a close up of the flake in the roof in the sunlight. I think I saw a thread where you showed it on the wheels. Anyway, looks killer!
sinner, my 53 is dark metallic blue, full skirted, same wheel and tire treatment as yours and fairly low. im thinking lake pipes, dummy spots and that bull nose strip and some white scallops pinstiped in baby blue whatta you think ????? i'd post some pics but i dont have any of it since i painted the wheels and skirts plus it is in shop all torn apart (gettin a new motor)
Sweet looking ride, was never a big fan of that body style growing up but I am really starting to like them now. Again, SWEET ride!
Hey Will...did you notch out the trim around your window to mount that peep mirror? I have the same one and didn't use the bracket...just drilled a hole for the arm and the mounting screw. Works cool until I hit the freeway Bryan
Hey Bryan.....I got no trim inside Never even thought about that...I guess when I get it back in, I may have to do something with that
