Its been several months of re hab for a knee replacement however I am back in my shop and the Donovan Gemsa engine is sitting in my A Bone. The install is almost complete, many snags occured along the way but that's Hot Rodding. If things work out I should be headed down the highway in the next couple of weeks. Thorkle Rod is a friend of mine for many years and we talk Model A all the time, he now has a very cool 2 door sedan to play with. I just read the May issue of Hot Rod Delux and a article about San Fernando Drag Strip showing a airplane wreck . I was friends of the Pilot who crashed and I had flown several hours in his Waco prior to the accident , amazing 1964 was the year I was in the Marine Corps Reserve HMM 764 Helicopter Squadron . More to come.
Welcome to the Hamb. Thats a beautiful engine, and id love to see and hear a vid of it one day. Thanks for posting.
Yo Bubba, Can't wait to here that thing go vroom vroom inside the A bone. You have put a lot of thought and engineering into the project but what else would I expect from you. Here is a sneak peak picture
