some off us along with one of the builders are going to a bar in lodi Nj to enjoy some beers and watch if any one in the area wants to come join us. the bar is the Thirsty Toad on essex st across from bergen county harley.

I'm surpised Boyd doesn't pay discovery channel not to air it for fear that traditional rods made for 15,000.00 or less will become more popular.

Too bad I never saw the Yellow Chevy build.

 

I like how Jessy went traditional with the design but went against the norm and didn't want the white walls and red steelies.

Nice build so far .. but WTF with Randy Bianchi attitude and stunts make the EC guys look like crap.. .. we all know your talent but now maybe the talent is Zero !

did get weird. nowhere near as much cohesion and joy as in the chevy build.

like the tires, would have rather at least seen an OLD SBC if nothing else...

Yeah the heart attack ruined it, but it was redeemed when Agnostic Front came out to play, haha.

 

Announcer said there were only 30 original Model A sedans left. Must all be in South Mississippi. Also said the Thunderbird was the first Ford to have a name. Must shock the shit out of the Crestliner, Victoria, etc.

announcer also said it looked like a "streetrod." at least the camera guy was trying to learn something about magnetos.

 

The show, marginal. Agnostic Front made it worth while.

 

I think he was tryin to get an explination for the camera and the guy ended up bein a dick!

 

If I had a TV network paying for the buildup of my hot rod, given the choice between a flathead or a 600 horsepower SBC......I'll take the chevy!!
