My name's Jonathan and live in Melbourne, FL. Unfortunately my family has no roots in cars so I'm the first. I used to be into lowriders then muscle cars but finally decided that those cars weren't what I was looking for. Once I stumbled on some traditional rods and customs, not the easter egg colored street rods that roam around here, there was no turning back. Since then I've owned a 54 Ford 2d custom that my friends an I called the fish bowl since the roof was pretty much held on by silicone and leaked like a sieve, a 72 Impala which I had purchased during my muscle car phase and I currently drive, and a 55 Ford F100 that is currently in pieces being rebuilt and will hopefully be turned into a nice 60's style custom. Looking to add another car to my list soon and get rid of the Impala. I graduated school with a degree in mechanical engineering and 4 yrs of machining experience and now I work as an engineer for a government contractor. I hope to start designing and building my own unique speed parts in the future and maybe open up a shop because working for the government isn't fun. I've always been interested in unique engine mods and am currently working on an inline six Ford 215 that's been bored to 0.030" over 223ci. Any interesting modification ideas will be happily welcomed or any information on performance parts. I'll stop rambling now and hope to meet some new friends and hope I can help some people out.
