Do youself a favor and do NOT shop at Classic Parts of America in Riverside, MO.

I have spent 2 days going back and forth with the billing department explaining they sent me the wrong parts for what I had ordered. A few weeks ago I ordered wheel cylinders and parking brake cables, and cable boots. They sent me the correct parts, wheel cylinders had 3/8-24 threads. My hard lines I bought are 3/16" with 3/8-24, perfect.

Last week I ordered a soft hose and the Tee fitting that goes in the middle of the hardline to attach to the front hard lines. My '46 has a 3/8" tee for that and the hose has a 3/8" nut.

When these parts came both the soft hose and the Tee fitting have all 7/16" fittings. There is no possible way that 7/16" will fit the OEM parts, yet the parts are marked to work for '35-'73. Well, that's wrong cause my OEM parts are 3/8".

To make matters worse the dingbat on the phone told me that people have reported issues with them not fitting in the past. So I asked why they continue to sell them? Crickets...she told me she would pass along my comments. I told her I could care less, there's no way I would buy parts from them again. They lost a customer as I do not patronize businesses that operate like theirs.

I will NEVER order from this company again, and recommend others don't either. But that is up to you to decide, not me. I'm just passing along my experience.

In short, the 7/16" connectors could work if you had 3/16" hard line. Seems those typically have 1/4" hard line though, and I want to keep my hard lines the same so I don't run into pressure issues.

EDIT: I see that Classic Parts of America provides a discount to members here, but for the little they offer, getting the wrong parts more than offsets that for me.
