That's terrible. Always hate to hear about these kind of things. Thoughts and prayers out to his friends and family.

Sad indeed, when we walk out the door to go to work or a trip to the parts house there is no guarantee you will return home.

Make sure you tell your family you love them when you leave home & at the risk of my reply being deleted,if you are a man of faith pray for the gentleman,Darren Michael Allen and his family in the days and weeks to come. HRP

Sorry for the death, condolences to family..Is it known for sure that the frame did him in? Looks like the truck rolled over, hope there is no connection [as in wrongful death suit] that the frame was yours....

  9. You have one guarantee that is the air this is currently in your lungs. Once you exhale its a ****shoot.

Always bad to see someone checkout, there are worse ways to go than others but none of them are good.

The ***le of this thread is disturbing, especially with the exclamation mark at the end. Maybe it's just me, but I would not give that ***le to a thread like this.

I'm on an iPhone so I can barely see, but is that the frame in the back of the truck or coming through back window on driver side?

Yes...you can edit ***le of thread. I did it a few days ago.....but can't recall the exact procedure, but I think I started with clicking on '...more options' in original post and went from there. I eventually stumbled into it.

I first saw this originally on facebook. The pickup was pulling a camper and for some reason not given yet the semi rearended the camper and the driver of the pickup lost control and rolled. facebook had a very closeup picture from the rear side of the camper/truck but when I went to look for it after seeing it posted here, they had pulled the picture.

It's sad seeing the picture. The guy was really nice to deal with and very helpful.

You know what? Don't take life for granted, too many of us say that, but do, in 2010, after being healthy as a horse all my life, went to the dentist for regular stuff. He asked me about a lump in my neck that he felt, my beard has hidden well, off to a head and neck guy who was shocked to say the least. I had a tumor in my neck, went from my jaw down into my chest, was a half inch from my heart. Had it touched my heart, dead, no waking up, done. Ended up seeing one of the best head and neck surgeons in Canada, he got me in immediately, usual wait for him is six months to a year, I was in the operating room two days after seeing him, four days after being referred to him.
Cut me ear to ear in a fold of my neck, got that ****er out, greatest guy I ever met. Strangest thing? Didn't know it was there, I'd have died had it not been for a nosy dentist, who I never go to, because I'm one of the lucky few with perfect teeth, never had a cavity or a bad tooth, 61 now, still upright.
Every day is precious, I don't care what the weather brings, no time for ignorant people, but all the time in the world for those I can help. Life is good, something you can't understand till you've stared death in the face.

I never took the time to tell my dad that I loved him, or how much his influences made me the man I am today.

And I can never do that now. I will never out run or out live that regret.

Don't let this happen to you. Say the words.

I bet the moment before it happened he was talking about what he was going to do tomorrow. My prayers go out to his family.

Sad situation. Prayers to his family. I second the comments about not taking things for granted. I recently had a medical situation that made me really understand this. Changes your whole way of thinking. Do the things you want to do but most importantly spend the time with the people who are most important to you. And tell them you love them every day.
