Want to re-chrome the door handles on the ‘37 Chevy pickup. I purchased a second original door handle that will hold a lock so both handles are lockable so what’s the problem you ask? Of the two, one has a lock and one does not. I think I need a key to remove the original lock before I send them off to the plater but I’m quite sure how to remove it, I do not have a key or a key blank. Anyone out there that can remove the lock, chrome the two handles ( I think they are pot metal ) then install new locks into both handles and supply keys? Tried the only key guy listed on the H.A.M.B. but the link is dead. Any ideals?

I have 2 door handles that will hold locks. Trying to find locks that work with them. Thank you I will ask them.
I never found a reproduction locking handle for my avatar. I ended up finding a used handle and restoring it. Internally the handles are of the same design from 1935 to 1941. The car is reproduced but they do not interchange with the truck. Finding a complete used handle may be your only option. Below is a breakdown of the two.
