Technical Door latch removal?

In most of your pics the inside door lever is forward definitely locked position on suicide doors, which by the way is very cool in 27

 

Can you get something really thin into the gap between the front edge of the door and the A pillar? From the inside would probably be easiest. If you can push the striker back into the door lock from the inside, you should be able to get the door open without twisting or prising anything.

House break and enter guys can open a normal front door lock with a credit card, so maybe a thin piece of steel, hacksaw blade etc. might get the job done.
